PROGRESS WORK FOR LARGE SCALE PRINT PIECES VI

Just completed a pretty big chunk of space in this thing. I am creeping up on the finish line. Then it'll be time to get started on the second triptych piece. The more I look at this, the more I really dig some of depth created. It's like this 3D ebb and flow tapestry that just pulls you in and pushes you away. Or maybe it's because

"Or maybe it's because this black and white inverse effect is giving me a seizure. Either way, it's giving me a headache."

I already have a couple ideas for the second installment of this piece. In fact, I may even hold off on that for a little while and break this composition up into smaller 11 x 17 prints. Or maybe 8 x 8.That would certainly give me more bang for my buck. Been pitching this to a couple gallery shows lately too. Maybe I'll get a bite. Then... you know... I could show this around and that would be pretty fun.

Oh! I've been putting in some hours getting some of this printed too. I'm starting with some smaller 6 x 9 test prints. 2 color black and pink on white card stock. This is really just to get an idea of how big of a project this might turn into. Made the screens last week. Gonna get some ink laid this week. Cool. huh?
